Q: How long is Summer Sea Term?
A: Summer Sea Term is 60 days of sail time. However there is a two week period before cruise (Pre-Cruise) where the cadets prep, load, and clean the ship. And a 2 - 4 day period after cruise (Post-Cruise) where the cadets prep the ship for long term mooring.

Q: Wasnt cruise forty five days?
A: Cruise was forty five days last year, however, due to lower fuel prices the cost to operate the ship has decreased enough to allow for a longer cruise.

Q: Should they bring credit cards with them?
A: Yes, they should bring a credit card or debit card. Note, that most foreign ATM's do not link accounts together, so you will not be able to access your savings account by using a debit card.
